Luke Powell

Luke Powell is a 15-year-old singer-songwriter from Ferndale, California, with a big voice, humble heart, and deep love for music. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, Luke found his sound on a well-worn family piano and a vintage Martin guitar gifted by his aunt. Though lessons never stuck, his passion grew as he taught himself guitar online, blending raw talent with sincerity.

Also a dedicated athlete, Luke plays baseball, basketball, and once competed in high school rodeo—but music became his true calling. He’s since performed at local events like the Humboldt County Fair, Fortuna Chili Cook-Off, and most recently, wowed 10,000 students at the California FFA State Conference at Golden 1 Center. His talent even earned him an invitation to audition for American Idol.

Grounded by his small-town roots and inspired by his family—especially his music-loving grandpa Larry—Luke Powell is just beginning his journey, with heart, humility, and songs that speak far beyond his years.
